Before the Bullets

More than 40,000 people a year in the United States are killed by gun violence and we have spoken to medical professionals from Mass General Hospital and other local medical centers about their experiences and hopes for the future of gun violence prevention. They discuss what also needs to be done besides just patching up the bullet holes. This mini-documentary was created alongside our Quiet Rooms documentary, from a medical professionals view. The research was collated through work with the Engagement Lab, Louis D. Brown Peace Institutes and the Mass General Center for Gun Violence Prevention.
